Softsafe is a low foaming, soft metal safe, hard water tolerant alkaline detergent for use in CIP and spray washing applications in the food and beverage industry.

• Softsafe provides excellent detergency and soft metal safe protection for spray washing and CIP applications in the food and beverage industries. • Softsafe provides excellent fat/oil penetration and removal properties for CIP and spray washing applications in dairy and processed food applications. • Softsafe is highly effective for cleaning applications in the ice cream and margarine manufacturing industry. • Softsafe is safe for use on aluminium and other soft metal surfaces. • Softsafe is suitable for CIP under conditions of high turbulence.

Softsafe is used at 1-3% w/w (0.8-2.5% v/v) at 50-90°C depending upon the application and the degree of soiling. Softsafe should be rinsed thoroughly from all surfaces after cleaning, to ensure potential staining is eliminated.
