AF Silicon VB1 20L - Universal skumdæmper, silikonebaseret

AF Silicon is a general-purpose silicone based defoamer for use in the food, beverage, dairy and cosmetic industries.

• AF Silicon is a concentrated silicone based additive specifically designed to counter-act excessive foaming generated as a result of interactions between alkaline detergents and soil. It is suitable for use in a wide range of applications including bottlewashing and CIP and is effective over a wide temperature range. • AF Silicon can be used on food contact surfaces and complies with EC regulations. AF Silicon can also be used for: - Preform treatment: pre-treatment of preforms within the PET bottle-production. It will be applied directly onto the preforms right at the beginning of blowmoulding machines. The product cares for free rotation of moulded bottles to ensure seizing free transportation. - The product is sprayed on to PET bottles so the sleeve labels better slip over the bottle right after the filling process. • All ingredients in AF Silicon are food additives. All ingredients are selected from the list of approved direct food additives (“E” numbered) as listed in 1333/2008/EC. • AF Silicon complies with the requirements of 10/2011/EC as an additive or polymer production aid.

Use AF Silicon at concentrations between 0.005 and 0.02% depending on the degree of foaming. For specific details please refer to individual method cards. PET bottles: Use AF Silicon as concentrate as delivered in small quantities by using an automatic dosing device.
